WHATS GOING ON AT #4556?
Hello Brothers!
Winter is almost over and
soon spring will arrive, it has been quite a winter. February really was quite a month every
Saturday was busy, we had Euchre, hosted the St. Nicholas Valentines Day
Dinner, Knight of the Year, and hosted the St Cornelius Wild Game dinner. (Good thing we had an extra day in the
month).

What a great Knight of the
year we had, congratulations to our Knight of the Year PGK Mark Simpson! Our Family of the Year PGK Dave and Pat
Sowden! Both well deserved! Thanks also to DGK Jim Stanley and his fine
committee Joe Biondo, and Lynn Kloc what a great party! Special THANKS to all of YOU!
The Council hosted a
successful Fish Fry on the 22nd of Feb. we served over 325 dinners
and made about $700.00 Our Last Fry is
on March 7th.
Special Thanks goes out to Keven
Sands for running 2 Very Successful Cash Bar events with the St. Cornelia’s
Wild Game Dinner, and the North Branch Athletic Boosters Banquet, we have
already booked both of them again for next year.
Don’t forget BINGO happens
every Tuesday night, Dave Sowden and crew are doing a great job the crowds are
great. Dave always needs extra help so
come on up and lend a hand.
Our FS Mark Samuelson is
right now busy putting together a new call chain list for the Council, if you
have not been getting called lately or your phone number has changed please
give Mark a call at (810) 724-2014, to get your information updated.
A Corporate Communion is in
the planning stage for March 30 2008 at the 8AM Mass at Sacred
Heart Church
in Imlay City.
The new and Improved 300 Club
is coming your way, renamed “The Fall Dinner Dance and Raffle” the tickets will
hopefully be available first part of April, the party is planned for Oct 4th,
thanks to Julius and his great committee for doing this!
